No Designer Paper! (Gasp!!)

Hello there and happy Wednesday to you all!! :)

This week's challenge at Inky Impressions is to create a project with (gasp!) no patterned paper!! I mean, is that a challenge or what!?? :)

I played with Lili's Chicks but I cut them out in lieu of the seashell brads to create a beach scene...

I have to admit that I felt quite challenged with this one and I was psyched to be stretched a little. Now I'm off to try and visit my favorite LSS so I can get more patterned paper to appease the feeling of missing something here! :)

Thanks for swinging by and have a great day!

Christmas in July Time!

Hello there bloggers and happy Monday! This week's challenge at Craft Your Passion is "Christmas in July" and we are sponsored by the very fun Crafty Sentiments!

I played with Hootie Christmas Owl and cracked out the stash of Christmas papers that have been hibernating all summer long...

I have to say, this was a "Cool" card to play with in the middle of July! :) I will be submitting this to the following challenges:

2 Cute Ink (Anything Goes)
Crafting from the Heart (Anything Goes)

Thanks for swinging by and have a great week!

For the American Patriot in us all...

Hi there and happy Wednesday! I can't believe how this week is flying by and how this month is already July!! (Internal rhyme??) :)

This week's challenge at Inky Impressions is "Patriotic/Red,White,Blue" and I tried altering the adorable Marleigha Kisses to make her a little less "valentines-y" and more "patriotic-y"...

Holding a flag in lieu of her heart, she just STILL looks adorable! :)

I will be submitting her to the following challenges:

A Girl who Crafts (Anything Goes)
Cards Galore Encore (Use a Digi)
One Sweet Challenge (Red, White, Blue)

Thanks for stopping by!!
